My back has been killing me the last few months and this last week I got some different medicine. Checked it out and it works better than with out it. Just did some running around on local roads and a few dirt roads. Sure would like to grab a bigger gas tank. I rode 91 miles to flipping the reserve lever up. 1 1/2 gal leaving a 1/2 gal in the tank. 60mpg is about what I would expect with me riding that bike the way I do.
I used to get around 28mpg unless I was in a big hurry with the bandit I rode for 7 years. Spent more on chains sprockets and tires than it cost almost new when I bought it. If you don't need a big motor it sure is a lot easier on your credit card.

That is one of the two pitfalls of that otherwise stellar machine,,,,the pitiful gas tank and the seat that comes from the factory,,,,
