So, here in FL, some guys have put something together called The Woodsman Cup. Basically it's racing machines through the woods that were never meant to race through the woods... Scooters, sport bikes, the like. Seeing that the drag racing thing isn't making many waves at the moment, and a couple of us here still have the itch to race scooters (and cars, and anything else that can be raced), we're going to be prepping a couple of the R&D bikes for this thing. As I have more pictures and stuff I'll post them up. Should be fun! Here's their FB page. www.facebook.com/WoodsmanCup/Matt

A well prepped px200 with knobbies would be hard to beat ,,, they've run the Paris/Dakar and finished with a 50% attrition rate,,, so it's a viable platform,,, you can build an a$$kicker for $2500 if you buy a low buck one

cyborg - A prepped p200 would be awesome, but I'm totally just throwing some knobbies on a built QMB139 that I can whoop up on in the woods guilt free.
I also have a Chinese built Electric Honda GROM knockoff in transit right now from China that I may bring along just for giggles.

Some times a race comprised of equally qualified "go slower" machines is more fun than high speed race to watch. A race that there is passing back and forth is worth watching. I like short tracks because of that, long tracks tend to favor a few and are follow the leader.
For the smaller stock car tracks I often thought small cars running 4 "donut" spare tires would be a blast. There is an endless supply of those tires brand new at the junkyards.
