Just did a boatload of upgrades on my 50cc Motobravo scooter. I take it off the work horse, go to kick start it and notice its acting weird. Long story short there is now a giant crack in my crankcase! My question is what kind of work am I looking at? Im just curious before I start tearing things open. Thanks!

I saw the picture over at Dansgarage, I thought is was only the CVT cover itself. Is the actually Engine case cracked also. If the Engine case itself is cracked you done May try JB weld or Alum epoxy on the CVT cover but I don't think it will last as there is some flex going on with that cover and the repair will be short lived. Try to source a used one. A new one is around $55 bucks. btw im pistonguy over on Dansgarage.

Two choices tig weld or replace. Plastics will not hold up on gy6 engine cases.
