I'm moving over to a new thread. No one wants to read through the problems and solutions tried.
I got the bogging at 30 mph gone but it moved to 40 mph. Got that to move to 45 mph and finally 49 mph.
I'm on the OEM jet but it has no marking. I cannot tell what it is.
But I have purchased 2 sets of jet kits to fill in what I'm missing.
I now have 100, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, etc. I was missing 109, 107, 106.
I believe the OEM jet is a 109 as my 110 and 108 didn't produce the same results and I didn't have 109, 107 and 106 to check against and at that small they all look the same.
So I'm probably on a 109. I have the needle clip at 2nd to the last leanest setting. It bogs at 49mph on that setting. If I move it to the leanest setting I get no bogging but take off is very sluggish. It's sluggish from 0 to like 10 mph.
Please say someone knows the problem and solution, please.
I await your thoughts. Thank you.

Leave the needle at the setting you have it at now and bump the pilot jet up one

Leave the needle at the setting you have it at now and bump the pilot jet up one By leave it do you mean out it at leanest clip setting so it doesn't big at 49mph then replace the pilot jet, up one size? I of course don't have a different pilot jet. Lol. I only have main Jets. If the pilot jet is unmarked like the main jet this will be more "FUN".

This might have been your problem the whole time as the pilot jet is going all the time and the other jets come into play as needed with throttle position

This might have been your problem the whole time as the pilot jet is going all the time and the other jets come into play as needed with throttle position Right now I've placed it on the setting for no bogging. I then just upped the idle screw, and the air fuel mixture. I'll test on the way to work. Make adjustments on the way in. Report back. Edit, this set up was not working correctly. I put it back to the 2nd to the last leanest setting. I couldn't take off, as it was too lean, no power at all, and would die. Moved the clip setting from the leanest, that fixed it.

So, I have been driving it on and off. The problem I am seeing right now is that at idle I get surging that I wasn't noticing before. It's a lean condition apparently, but from where? I research a couple of things. I am going to pull the intake manifold and make sure the gasket there is ok. Then spray again all over. Water, wd-40, choke cleaner, etc,...
The good, it's not bogging currently. If it stops the lean condition I should be good to go and should be able to get full power and get to 55mph. I hope

So on the way to and from work, I noticed that stopping at lights or stop signs it would try to die add then would starting high idling. Pretty sure it's the auto choke sticking open.
Also noticed the rollers and the malossi variator is making a terrible racket, so I switched back to the OEM variator, and the malossi rollers, 12 grams.
Wish me luck.

I found a post by Alley and he suggested when the surging is from the auto choke being stuck open block it off and put it back on or replace the auto choke. I'm going to do that. I've taken that carb out, I'll run the other one for now until I get the adjustment done.
I did replace the variator with OEM and the rattle from the rollers is still present. I have no idea. I'm thinking of getting a new clutch assembly. Not performance, just new. I took this one apart and cleaned and re-lubricated the outer circle bearing, then replaced the inner needle bearing.
I don't that's what's wrong but,. Nothing else was touched.

So, no good on getting the scooter to 55mph. But the goal has changed to highest mpg possible.

I did change the pilot jet. It did help.
I changed the setting for the needle to en-richen. I added a washer, but it didn't help. It was easy too large of a washer. Made it worse while not adding and fuel to the top end.
I've since changed the washer to only a very thin one. It did help. I cannot find a #106 or #107 main jet.
I ordered a set of 18 gram sides. I'm currently on 16.5 gram rollers.
When I get to 7100 RPMs I am at 47 mph. No wind, level ground. If I install the 18 gram sliders it might not do what I want.
I swapped, rollers to 15.5 gram rollers. If I can't get to max RPMs now, going down in weight by the 1 gram should give 500 RPMs. It did help but still cannot get over 47mph.
I am going to try to move it back up to the 18 gram sliders when they come, try to get a larger jet than #105., I am also noticing the belt tension was ok, but when I checked it for tension, the back pulley was allowing the belt to move down in to pulley face easily. I am ordering a 1000 torque spring and a longer belt again the 842. If the tension is corrected then the belts should be tight again. and the larger belt will give full range of motion.
I'll see what that produces.
Anyone with any thoughts would be great

I also, figured it that since the torque spring is bad, that's why I haven't been able to get to 8000 RPMs. As soon as I changed that I can tell I can now get to the max power band once I get the spring replaced I should be able to tube the CVT.
I have been hindered by the 2 problems. The auto choke, and the spring. Both bad, both not allowing me to tube the carb and the CVT properly

Solved: Warner weather speed is at 50 mph at 64 degrees. Only tine was the 9 Mike ride home so the temps have been colder for this last full up.
I just filled up, 73 mpg. I'm closer or at the right tuning. 824 x 20 x 30 belt, 18 gram sliders, carb is a #105 main jet, pilot is #35. Oh and the torque spring is 1k.
I'm a big guy, surprised that a 236 lb person can have that set up and it works.

Ok, it's tuned for the warmer weather just fine. I had a highway trip and was able to get to 55+ mph. Even into an 11mph wind I could go almost 49, up slight hills. just don't have the ability to tune the carb correctly. I don't have a #106 jet that fits correctly. Also NO bogging obviously. I'm going to try to recut the threads on the #106 I have so it will fit the way it should. I'll do for the #107 also.

Ok I got the scooter to get 73 mpg after getting the main jet to 105 and pilot at 35.
Needle clip is on richest setting. Not bad.
