Hi guys,
I bought a 2008 lance venice 150 a few days ago (used). After about 3 hours of owning it the belt blew, I pulled the scooter apart, replaced the belt, turned it on with the new belt on and everything seemed fine. I put everything back together fired it up and reved it while it was still on the stand, everything seemed fine. I then sat on the scooter gave it some throttle and it started bouncing and jolting forward trying to take off. after about 15 seconds of throttling down it finally picked up and ran fine, this same problem happened every time I would slow down. Keep in mind I only weigh 150 lbs.
When I turn the scooter on the back tire is already moving so i am thinking there may be something going on in the clutch?? Any suggestions help! I really want to get this thing running again!

Sounds like a problem with the clutch side of the drive line

I am going to go with the clutch has glazing. If so then the clutch pads will be shiny.
Either that or the belt is wrong size. Other options is really bad flat spots on rollers, or it has Slider type weights in variator and they are shifted and not sitting correctly.
Or, and this is not so normal I think, a clutch spring broke. That would be a last option check, long shot.
Do one change and check results.
