Please forgive my ignorance! I'm working on a JCL MP-150A that has been sitting for years. Both left and right master cylinders are shot. I've purchased the right (front) master cylinder, but the company didn't have the left (rear) one. I am having the hardest time finding the rear master cylinder! Mine have the banjo bolt coming out of the bottom of the brake fluid box. Several of the ones that I see for sale have the banjo bolt coming out of the back of the box. If the measurements are the same (especially the handle bar measurement and banjo bolt thread measurement), will I be able to use this in place of my frozen original master cylinder, even though the banjo bolt is in a different location? Is it better for me to simply look for a rebuild kit? Thanks!

The function of the master cylinder is the same , it doesn't make any difference as long as the hose is long enough.

Also check the mirror mount location, that could be an issue.
