Putting the finishing touches on my JCL MP-150A.  Bought it from someone, after it had been sitting for a few years.  The floor mat is pliable, but seems to have shrunk over time.  It is about 1/4" too short.  I get one side of the nipples in, and when I move to the other side, I have to pull so much that the other side comes loose.  I really don't want to have to put more money into this bike.  Any suggestions as to how to maybe stretch the rubber floor mat a little bit?  Thanks!

Leave it in the sun and get it soft,,,then it will stretch

Or use a hair dryer to warm it.
