Anyone in the group fly them?
Was looking for a bike and stumbled on to PPG's.
For the price point of a nice used bike I could be buzzing around with my knees in a real breeze...

I'm very interested. Very little rules and regulations appeals to me. The one I'm considering is the backpack kind. Like this. goo.gl/images/9VNaOg

I used to,back in the late 80's, but I can't handle the banking anymore with my inner ears, I don't know about new rules and regulations, get the bike first then get the paraglider, get processional instruction or you'll end up dead. they are very limited by weather and wind.

I have seen them regularly during the warmer months. There are two airports in rural areas where I see them the most. Also the EAA has it's big show just 18 miles away so I see more then. Along with a lot of other stuff. I gave it a thought when I lived near Milwaukee but went and bought my first Gold Wing instead.

I've had bikes so this is something new.
One guy I follow on YouTube goes everywhere and that appeals to me greatly.
Come spring I'll look a bit harder after I researched the models that will work for long hauls and weight.
Even at 15mph it would be awesome buzzing around.
