I have a 2010 Znen 250cc scooter. I wish I knew the model. First, when I start off going slow, it seems like something is slipping or something or puttering. Its kinda rough. But once I get passed that part it smooth and good. Plus when I drove it around for 25 minutes and all a sudden it started slowing down like it was losing power and then I let go of the throttle and then it died. It wouldn't start up so I waited 20 minutes and then it started back up. So I'm really confused. One guy said needs a new carb and one guy said it's the belt slipping or something. The guy I bought it from said it's a new carb. last question. I have a hot and cold gauge thing, is there place where i put antifreeze or something because I can't see it. What am I dealing with? Please and thanks

These are water cooled engines, which mean you have a radiator and a reservoir. Look for a small plastic door somewhere in the front. Mine is below the glove box on the center console. How many miles on your scooter? You should change your coolant, since you don't know what's in there. Use only antifreeze for aluminum engines. And for you running issue, the auto choke is a good guess as mentioned by jeh245. They will cause the kind of symptoms you describe.
