I have a 2008 Roketa mc-72-150. It currently has an 8 pole stator and an AC CDI. I have just received my 11 pole stator upgrade complete with flywheel and rectifier. My question is will my factory plug that is currently plugged into my rectifier fit the new rectifier, or will I have to make a new plug for that too? Also, my headlights, tail light and dash lights only operate when the engine is running. Will the new rectifier keep them operating the same or will I need to rewire that too?
I am mechanically inclined and am not afraid of the project. I just don't want to fry anything before it gets to the road.
Thank you for the opportunity to ask for help.

welcome Johnny, where did you buy the stuff? John eBay. I saw the 4 part video series of the upgrade and was unsure about the wiring of the unregulated running lights. The three Yellow stator wires are cut and dry wiring, but the rest from the rectifier wasn't really covered. I'm going to be starting on it in a couple of hours. I'm hoping the existing wiring harness will be plug and play into the rectifier.

I'm hoping the existing wiring harness will be plug and play into the rectifier. I'm at a point of question. I've installed the stator and flywheel (the new flywheel matched my old one perfectly). I have made my wiring harness for the three Yellow wires and the ground. I'm now trying to get the rectifier wiring figured out. My old 4 pin has yellow, white, red and green wires. The new one has green, red, white and black. I'm assuming I connect the red to the red, and the green to the green, white to white, but do I connect the yellow one from my bike to the black from the rectifier? This install has gone rather smoothly up to this point. Thank you for any help anyone can give me. Johnny

Does the vendor offer tech help? Do you have someone to talk to after your purchase/ I looked for a phone number for ebay, I can't find one.
most of the harness can not be used, don't power it on the way its wired. The colors don't match up either ( for the most part)

The colors don't match up either ( for the most part) John I had to make my own harnesses. I think I have it figured out. The black wire is a sensor wire that connects to the ignition accessory power wire, the red goes to batt positive to charge it, the white goes to the enricher, and green is ground. So in my case, the enricher is wired to the AC running lights from the old stator via the yellow wire from the old stator. I checked this with my multimeter. So everything should work as it did, but better. When it warms up I will post my voltage readings. I had to do some research to find out what the wires do. Let me know if I have something out of place. Thank you for your time

You got/found great info on this/ Where did you get the info.
Not sure the white wire will handle the entire load you can trigger a relay with the white wire.

John Someone from a Facebook group gave it to me. Group is called Scooter Addicts. I wound up wiring my running lights to the ignition accessory positive. This scooter has sat for three years and as I fix one issue another shows up. Next I am taking my clutch and variator apart. It's stalling at every stop and it's hard to push when not running, and shaking badly at idle.

I adjusted it up and down. The issue is that the rear tire is trying to push the bike. I checked the rollers and the clutch. My clutch Bell was glazed as well as the pads. I sanded the glazing off. When the battery is done charging, I'll take it for a spin to see what happens.

Good luck post results please Still waiting for decent weather. Ok. The scooter was doing fine, not shaking at idle. Then it warmed up and it was shaking again. The clutch Bell is blued like it was overheated. I'm pretty sure that the clutch is warped. I found a new clutch assembly on eBay for 26.99 with free shipping from Texas. Is this a decent find? Thanks

Price is right ,,,but how's the quality? Idle is still too low,,,the shaking after warm up is the enrichner shutting off so the idle is dropping
