Hi I am a newbie to this forum and also a newbie to scooters, with that in mind please bear with me..
I Just purchased a BMS Federal 50 49cc Scooter. I have noticed something that is annoying and I am wondering if I should be concerned or how to fix it.
When I accelerate quickly from a stop, I feel a a slight pull of the front wheel towards the left, after reaching around 15 or so mph, it seems to go away. What would cause this and should I be concerned?
Thank you ahead of time for any and all responses. I'm thinking maybe it was in an accident, but there is no evidence of that and it only had 1300 miles when I got it. Any thoughts.

Welcome allanzapper!
If it stops pulling after a certain speed or amount of time, I’m gonna guess that nothing is bent. I’d start by looking at the front brake pads & caliper. Take the brake caliper off, then remove the pads & give the caliper a good cleaning. You should be able to push the caliper piston inward by hand, at least a little, if not fully. If you can’t then it might need to be replaced.
It also could be a bad wheel bearing. After you take the front brake off, give the front tire a good spin and see if it’s rotating freely & quietly. It should spin anywhere from 5-15 seconds depending on how hard you spun it.
