I have a 2014 Jonway YY50QT-6 that was given to me disassembled with a bad motor. I have the engine back together but still waiting on intake and exhaust gaskets. I am trying to get the rest of it back together but since I didn't take it apart it has been trial and error. Right now I have rubber hoses going to what appears to be a PCV valve, the letters PCV stamped on it gave me the clue. Two hoses come out the back and one connects to the intake (I have 2 ports on the intake) before it goes into the head and the other connects to the airtube between the air filter and carb. The other side has 2 different size nipples but I have no loose hoses to connect to them. Any ideas or is it just open? I also have a rubber hose coming off the muffler and ending. Any ideas or is it also just open? It is the one hanging down by the center stand.

I removed all of that stuff before starting my Jonway for the first time. When left intact, It will cause problems down the road. I'm certain there are Utube videos, on PAIR System Removal.....cap off all exposed nipples after removing hoses......(Exception, breather hose from valve cover must remain open). Make or purchase a block off plate for the exhaust pipe connection location.

Odd that the information I have found shows PAIR on bikes with EGR and this one doesn't have EGR. Who knows, PO might have removed EGR although there are no blockoffs. Thanks for the reply.

That canister is part of an EGR system. just remove it, along with it's hoses, and place a vacuum cap on the exposed nipples. Most auto parts stores, sell a container of assorted size vac caps for a few $. As stated earlier, make sure the breather hose, coming from the valve cover, remains open.

Thanks guys. I got it all together and it fired right up.
I need to find break in procedures since the top end is all new. I also need to find some missing hardware, nuts to hold the storage box under the seat, screws for the battery cover, the battery strap, the screws on either side of the steering head that hold the headlight plastic on. Any body have extras?
