Ok so I started my scooter first time this season, I know I'm late anyway it's a 2009 Propel 250cc with the honda clone motor dc CDI, it was working fine when I put it away last year now the headlights are very dim not legal to drive, no tail lights, no instrument lights, I have horn, brake, and turn signal lights, also if I hit the passing switch the headlights light up full power and the blue highbeam lights up on the dash like its supposed to,cant fine anything that pulled out most be a short??, any Ideas?? also with this scoot headlights only come on with the engine running...

Thanks for the reply, so I should look to where the head lights get grounded?? as I pulled the front of the scooter off and didn't see anything out of the ordinary, I really thought it was in the handle bar switch took that apart nothin... in fact I broke it testing it so I had to order a new one, is it true that the headlights and tail lights run directly off the stator and not off the battery??
