Hey fellas! New to the forum and just wanted to check in.
I recently got a 2003 Derbi gp1 50cc LC That has been sitting for 15 years. This is my first moped but been messing with stand up Goped scooters for years.
1st question is this scoot worth rebuilding? My buddy said it his son rode it about1000 miles before he bailed on it and put it away. The funny thing is the odometer says 5.6 miles.
Okay. The muffler is off and so is is the carb. The kick start stayed down when I kicked it to see if it had any compression. The internal are all dried up from sitting in this Vegas heat all them years.

So where do I start to get this back running.?

You need to pull the gas tank and make sure it's all clean inside,,,buy a few feet of vacuum line,,buy a couple gallons of fresh gas,,,buy a new battery and a charger,,,

Looking it up it says its s liquid cooled 2 smoker if it is,
It may not be cheap but worth it.
With some mods and parts it should rip!
