Are Honda Metropolitan scooters worth the difference in price compared to these Chinese cheaper scooters? I can get A 2018 with "0" miles on it from a Honda Dealer for 3000- out the door with a luggage trunk I would need. BUT 3000 < I have a hard time with that. IS the difference in quality really worth the $2,000 difference in price? I know there are some nice differences like fuel injection. But the cost difference? IF it is worth it we can do it. BUT I can get 3 scooters for the price of just 1 Honda. The name "Honda" seems to equate to quality, is it really worth it?? your thoughts?

I don't think three grand is sensible for a 50cc scooter. Take Lance for instance. A 50cc scooter runs under two grand and is built by SYM. It will last as long and still go 30 mph like a Metropolitan. Both Wolf and Bintelli sell for about $1200 and have the very reliable 50cc GY6 in them. Heck, even a Kymco Agility or a Piaggio Typhoon undercut three grand.
Plus you won't get anywhere near your original investment in the Honda if you outgrow it and get something bigger. AND if memory serves Honda bought a Chinese plant to build the new Mets. So it's a China scoot at its heart.
