I have a 2020 Gator 50-E3 scooter got it brand new and with only putting 143 miles on it yesterday the Speedometer/odometer stopped working. I took the speedometer assembly out and I can see where the cable came out, BUT I dont see the nut that goes over the thread to hold the cable in place. I wish I took a pic of it sorry. But I used electrical tape to hold it in place so it works now BUT I want to fix it the right way.
I wonder how I can get the part I need to screw it on the speedo assembly. And what size that part is?
I looked pretty good in there where the wires go but sure didn't see it.
Any suggestions how or where to get the right part to attach the speedo cable to the assembly and what that partis actually called??

I finally found it sandwiched in there halfway between the speedo and the headlights. It took some time to pull it up but I got it and it won't come loose again
