I am new to Forum so bear with me I have a 150 2021 ice bear trike with 150 miles. bough from a older gentlemen who decided not to ride. this scooter has been setting 6 months. under full throttle down hill at 35 mph fells like run out of fuel changed out cdi to unlimited and it does it at 40 to 45. is there a governor built on to these things some were. when it does this it will shut down only with new cdi  and will have to sit a few minutes to get to start back up. with stock cdi will not shutdown but will not run over 35 mph any ideas .

Look and listen for an air leak in the vacuum lines or intake manifold.

Are your rpms high or low ? Could be the clutch not catching fully or the clutch pulley is stuck not allowing the belt to raise up the variation.
