I was going to buy a CVT weight kit that came with about 10 different size weights for the CVT but somebody told me that it wouldn't matter if I upgraded the CVT would only give me like one or two more horsepower on my scooter is this true or false

hello irishace,
you won't gain in both takeoff and top speed. you will gain one and lose the other depending on your choice. there's plenty of videos on youtube that cover this. myself, I don't like having extra parts to keep track of. when it's time to replace something, I will use new stock replacements.
