So a few weeks ago I just motor swapped my 2012 Kymco agility 125. I was able to swap a gy6 150 in with no issues. Gy6 now has Kymco carb, stator, and short shaft to make it work with Kymco wire harness. Everything is working besides keeping it running.
The stock agility 125 carb is 24mm with a 102 main jet and 0.35 pilot. I also added an Amazon exhaust(no real restriction) and uni air filter out the side because oem airbox and emissions were removed.
I can start the gy6 with the starter button and it starts easily. It runs for about 3 seconds and slowly dies as if chocking out or running out of fuel. If I let it sit for 5 minutes.. it will run a few seconds longer then initially and if I wait 10 minutes it will run let's say 10 seconds before dying. I have been reading a lot of posts and some point to adjusting the valves. Are the Jets that far off per someone with more experience than me? Looking for some direction because I'm so close to riding this thing.
*has new gas and fuel filter*

yes that jet is too small, you'll need at least a 108 but more likely 110. That said it should idle fine and even run okay but not great with what you have. sounds like your carb bowl is not filling fast enough to keep the gas level up to the jets. your float may be sticking or some kind of blockage either in the line or in the inlet of the carb. open the bowl dump/drain and see well it flows
