Hey Riders, My neighbor got the bug now that he sees me pulling out of my garage with my Trike. I let him ride my Trike around the area and he is hooked. He wants a 150cc for under $1,000.00 with the biggest wheels possible. A descent model if you know of any, seeing as I am probably going to be his mechanic I see a lot of 150ccs out there for well under $1,000.00 but I do not know what brand or if they are descent enough and can get parts for if needed. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Troops Alleyoop

www.gsmotorworks.comThey have one at $1100 and are a great company to deal with. I would send anybody to them. They've been around awhile, free shipping and parts to back up their products.

In my opinion 16 wheels on a scooter are a big mistake. no storage, high cost of tires, few mods available, try and find a variator for a 16" wheel scooter, and at the speed a 150 scooter goes 16" are not going to give any handling advantage that a properly sprung 12 or 13" will give. now if you are going to go 85 or 90 that might be a consideration but a 150 goes 55 or 60 and a bit faster down hill. If small tires were not safe I doubt they would use them to land a piper cub or a cessna with 6" tires. john

I bought my Roketa 150cc scooter from scooterdepot, in Chino California, great customer service and they come with 1 year warranty on engine, 1 year warranty on frame and 6 months parts warranty, I would highly recommend them to anyone so here is a link to a scooter just like mine with the only difference being mine has a single head light and this one is a dual. www.scooterdepot.us/150cc-Newest-Eagel-Style-Motor-Scooter-For-Sale-p-696.htmlCheck out the other 150cc scoots also there are many of them in the price range and many about half. Yea, the 150s appear to run around $800.00 with shipping. Its just which one he likes and if parts can be gotten for the scoot. Yep the 16" wheel ones are out its either 12s or 13s. He doesn't want the speed, around here 25-45 are the highest speeds although if it says 45 they are doing at least 50 or 55:) Alleyoop

Scooter depot has the 150cc scoots for $807.00 - $907.00 shipped right to his door, with great warranty and life time customer service, many of the ones they have listed that start with the MC_***** example MC_K75 are Roketa scooters, all the common GY6 parts work, thats what I have and they are very standard with the most popular parts.

The reason I never gave Superior any serious look is they dont list the shipping or even have a calculator for it. You have to actually pick the scoot and start the checkout process to find out what it will be. Makes it a pain to price compare.
EDIT: There shipping to me for the 150 and 250 are 239.00. It puts them in the same price range as lots of other sites.

Dr. JR you are very right on the price issue, and after saying what I did about price in that post I found that www.superiorpowersports.com also has so pretty awesome prices on the 250's I had actually forgot about them and had not been to their site in a while so disreguard what I said about www.extreme-scooters.com having the best prices on the 250's Thanks for all the info. everyone Shan
