2008 bashan 150cc
engine died while stopped, will not start again, no power/electricity to accessories (eg headlights)
day before this happened, while driving, gas gauge dropped to "empty" (plenty of gas) and then returned to proper level. this occurred 2-3 times.
battery charge 12.73. auto store that checked battery didnt know what cca to test at, neither did i, checked at 209 cca.
fuse ok.
what next?

Sounds like you have a short somewhere in the wiring, or, one of the electrical connectors has come unplugged. So, check all the connections and if that does not work start looking for a shorted out wire, or a loose grounding wire.

eureka! 2 loose wires in ignition switch harness! plugged wires back into wire harness applied silicone.
everything working.
