Can someone explain how to go about posting a VIDEO like Rich did for Posting pictures. I am at a loss on trying to do it. I have tried everything I can think of but nothing works. They are .AVI type Videos if that makes a difference. Alleyoop

It is pretty much te same as for photos. 1.) Open a www.photobucket.com account if you don't have one. Log in to Photobucket. 2.) Upload your video just like you do for a photo. 3.) When you move your cursur over the thumbnail of your video a box will open below it. Copy the "IMG Thumb" code and paste it into your message post. This gives a thumbnail like this in your message. Hope his helps. happy video-scooting Kiwiscoot

Another site for posting videos is www.vimeo.com . They do High Definition which looks great. Even their normal definition looks better than Youtube and Photobucket. Unfortunately it does not give you the same nice thumbnail in your message, only the link address, but the better video resolution makes up for that. To post from Vimeo: 1.) Open an account 2.) Click on big blue button "Upload a video". 3.) Once you've uploaded the video right click on your video thumbnail in Vimeo. 4.) Select "Copy link location" 5.) paste that into your message. Like this 6.)or use the "Insert Hyperlink" button just above the smiley face in the message editor of Scoot Doc. Paste the URL of your movie in to the hyperlink code after the "URL=" and before the "] " and the text you want to display befor the "[/b".
"URL=http://www.vimeo.com/13978436]My movie![/URL" It appears in your message like this. My movie!
Hope this makes sense and helps.
