I got a Helmet Cam Corder from Ebay, takes real good videos. I tried it putting it on the side of my helmet but the windshield gets in the way so I had to find a good mounting place. I got two pieces of 1/4" hardwood that I have laying around for my RC airplanes Epoxed them together screwed in the Cam Corder holder to the wood and trimed the pieces and painted it black. Then used a piece of metal screwed it into the wood and bent the metal and attached it to one of the screws available high enough to get a good shot of were I am going. Here is where I mounted the Cam Corder. Alleyoop

I like it. I think I'm going to try the same. I mount mine like this on the passenger foot-rest Travel camera tripod on foot-rest two hose-clamps hold it onto the foot-rest. I have a piece of rubber under it between it and the foot-rest. I do like your idea as then I'll be able to see the screen of my Kodak ZX1. happy scoot-videoing Kiwiscoot

kiswiscoot, Thanks, now I have to figure out how to load up videos. I tried Windows Movie Maker and cut down the Video from 10 mins to 5 and tried photobucket but its still to large. My son is an expert with computer and is a DBA at a company and he hooked up to my computer and showed me two other possibilities and how to do it. One is imagehost.org and of course youtube. He said youtube first has to approve the videos which may take a day or more. So I will try them and see if I can get the Videos up for show and tell Alleyoop

Alleyoop, did you look at my last post in Re Video posting thread I tried to explain how to upload to Vimeo. They don't seem to have a length limit, just a 500kbyte upload per week limit. good luck Kiwiscoot
