ok i got the new pod filter in today put it on the scooter started right up ran good took her out for a 20 mile test drive every thing was fine ran a little faster than she had been the thing is the new jets haven't came yet and i was wondering since i put the new filter on and she runs fine do i still need to re jet my carb for the new filter oh and i also took off the enricher and used gasket material to stop the holes as found on here i thought it was an excellent idea cp

Chrispetty1, Run it like that for a bit and then check your plug. If its white its running really lean and re-jet up a little. The scoots will run Lean and Mean but that creates a lot of heat and can damage your valves and or piston. If the plug has a tan brown color your good as is. Alleyoop

He speaks the truth. The only thing I can add is without the enricher it will run a little funny for about 5 to 10 minutes until it warms up. The overall improvement in performance is well worth it, at least to me. You also don't have to think about whether the enricher is causing problems or not. Rich

ok i put about 40 miles on her and the plug still looks tan about the color of fountain pepsi but if it goes white ill re jet to 120 or 125 main but what number on the other one or is the main jet the only one i have to redo

Just the main jet, the other is your Pilot jet and is for your idle and low speed up to about 20mph. It does supply fuel all through the throttle range but not enough to make a difference at those speeds and rpms.

sometimes it helps to drill out the muffler a bit - more air in, more air out (more noise too)
