Hi Trikers, The Kenda Load Star 205/65-10(20.8 inches tall) tires arrived this morning and I took off the OEM tires which are 18x10-10(17.07 inches tall). The Kenda Load Star 205/65-10 are actually cheap $38.00 each plus shipping. The Kend Load Stars 205/65-10 tires ARE GREAT!!! They roll real smooth, they have street threads None Directional. Also had them balanced one was off 1 oz and the other was off 2 oz's. They had to use the portable Power Air Tank to seat them, BAM and they were on So you trikers that want to get about 7-8 more miles per hour on your 10" rims for about $100.00 dollars shipped go for it. Dwild62 and I were the Science Project, it cost us extra due to the bad ones we orginally ordered but total of $200.00 for a 7-8 mph gain is not bad at all. Also they JUST fit under the Fenders you have about 1/2 between the tire and the Fender holders. Although after riding around at high speeds I found that due to the tires expanding with speed, like you see the Dragster tires expand going down the track, the tires were touching the Fender a little, not much but it was leaving tire marks on the underside of the fender ;D So I took off the Fender Brackets and took them to my Hot Rod Welder and Had them made Adjustable so I could raise or lower the Fenders to the Orginal position or even Higher If I want even Taller Tires than the 205/65-10 tires The 205/65-10 tires are 3" taller than the OEM 18x10-10 that the Trike came with. So for $100.00 the taller tires are good for 7-8 miles per hour faster-YEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAA. Alleyoop Here is the Kenda Load Star 205/65-10 Tire mounted:

I have mentioned the bit about tires grow at high speeds when people talk about putting on a larger rear and claim they have a very small clearance between engine and tire, so it should be ok. I am sure they are scraping when they hit 60 or so but no one yet has mentioned it. kind of like "it won't happen to my scooter" moving a fender works great but you can move an engine away from the tire. looks like you got a winner. Alley Which tire did you get? The web site shows P/R 4,6,8,10. Load Star K399 P/R 4, 905 weight 35psi. I would think. But you never know...I will be joining this group soon. I need some help with my icebear trike 150-9. Need more top end to get on the highway. Thanks Trike 98304.

Yeah what load range should I look at on these? I'm seeing a B rated to 905 a C rated to 1100, etc.

Get the "B" rated tires, don't forget that is 905 LBS at MAX. Your orginal tire is probably rated at 250lbs. You do not want a higher rating otherwise your sidewalls will be 4-6 ply which will make them to harsh on bumps. All your interested in is the Speed Rating and that they are DOT approved for street.
