I have been thinking about this for a while and here it goes: I've wanted to know if there is anything around that can teach me the basics of using fiberglass? I've seen plenty of things on TV but that's TV not much real life.

there's only one technique,,prepare everything you will use prior to mixing your hardener and the polymer thingy... these two hardens very quick when you mixed them so you have to move fast.,
measure and cut your mesh before hand. /prepare your mold and everything,,use brush to spread the mixture onto the mesh. good luck,,btw,what do you plan to create??
i'm no expert but curiosity taught me the basics.

I was thinking of making some speaker boxes that would mount on the left and right side of my glove box, I saw pic's in a magazine "made"

search for pics of modified scoots in Puerto Rico. That will give you an idea of how good they can be made to look.
