Re: Stainless exhaust system on 2006 Tank 150 Racer.
Developed a loud rattle last week and upon checking it out I found that I had some how thrown both of the springs that hold muff to head pipe. A trip to an Ace Hdwr and grabbed a couple of springs. The springs are some stiffer than orginal, but the issue is the OD. Acceleration causes a harmonic vibration and it sounds TERRIBLE. The springs are vibrating against the pipe. Short of wrapping the pipe with header wrap any other ideas as the next smaller OD springs are too light tension wise.

Cut the smaller OD springs down on one end to get the right tension and then re-hook it. Alleyoop
