Did I say made in hell? Yes, it runs like hell, but still think it was made in hell LOL. Now to prove my point. Yes, two little screws and out comes the enricher. Piece of cake right? NO. The two wires coming off the enricher have decided to go split and go to 2 different connectors. One has a green connector and the other one looks red or orange. So far still sounds easy. Now the problem. Those simple connectors are way out of hands reach. Solution is to remove the seat. remove the back tail light piece under the seat area. Remove 4 body screws, remove 4 body bolts, remove battery, remove bolt under battery. I also removed the two bolts on the back of the trunk. Now the inside cover should come right off correct? Nope. I also removed two screws on each side of the lower bottom panel. I was certain the box would come off, but like magic it stayed right where it was. That was a failed test run until my new enricher shows up. What the hell am I doing wrong? Good tip on adjusting the A/F screw. I'll need to take my longest screw driver and see how much longer a screw driver I'll need. I'm not sure if this would work, but I was thinking of removing the battery and cutting out a hole which may allow my hands down to those wires, and still be able to hold the battery up. I'm listed as a Scooter Doc, I think that needs to be changed to Scooter Idiot.

Speedracer, No you are not an Idiot, its the way they build that damn things. An yes by all means cut out a part of the Battery slot and leave a little edge all the way around that way you can cut out a piece of Hard Plastic or Aluminum that fits nice in the square so the battery will have something to rest on. That way you will always have a nice access slot. Alleyoop

Thanks Alley for the pick me up. I agree with the way they build these things. There should be an access panel for each item which needs maintenance on a regular schedule. I'll be cutting away on Tuesday my day which gives me plenty of time. I'll have to check the vendors listed to see who has the enricher I need and get one ordered. I certainly appreciate everyone's help.

I don't know how the tub is under the seat but you could do the same to the tub. And cut out a nice big access square or round whatever leaving a nice edge all the way around so that the access cover has something to attach it to. Alleyoop

Yea, make it easy for yourself, on mine they made a very nice access that is held down by two screws and clips. I can get both of my hands in there. They made the access hatch about 1 1/2 feet long by like 1 foot wide right over the carb area. Heck I can get to the valve cover , the entire top of the engine, carb, filter and even the coil and cdi. I do not have to take any panels off to get at anything yet. I just take the left cover under the left footboard to adjust my valves but that is it. And my trike body is just like yours in the picture exactly the same body panels. Alleyoop

Interesting the intake valve exposed under battery. Removing cvt cover is easy enough. Now if I can get it to TDC the intake valve adjustment might be a lot less time consuming.

Ordered new enricher from Absolutely Scooters yesterday afternoon and received and email today saying it was shipped priority mail today. Now that was fast service and the price was only $16.00 plus shipping. I should receive it on Tuesday or Wednesday. Here is another picture of spark plug removed. Do you still think the engine is running too lean?

Yes, you are just slightly Lean, now that could be just fine for your scoot if you do not notice anything at WOT. You can test it at WOT by backing off a just a little and hold it there and see if it picks up speed. If it Picks Up Speed then it is running Lean. If there is no change or slows a little then I would not bother messing with it. Or you could turn the Air/Fuel Mixture out another 1/8 to 1/4 turn and that should tan it up a little more. Alleyoop

Alley I will give it a try tomorrow. Now when you say WOT that doesn't mean I have to be going at top speed correct? How long do I stay at WOT before I back it off some?

Speedracer, Yes, when you reach top speed and you have the throttle all the way open then back off JUST a little bit and hold it there. It will either gain speed or keep running at the same speed or slow down a little bit. You will know right away it just takes seconds for the engine to re-act to the change.
If it Speeds Up when backing off just a little though that is an indicator that you are LEAN. This little trick is very accurate at all speeds to tell you if its running Lean or Rich within the Throttle range. Alleyoop

If I hit top speed I'll be doing 75 a bit too fast for me. Is there a safer way?

WOW! 75, I would just richen it up then seeing as the color you are getting is not really at wot but more in the 50-60mph range. Give that Air/Fuel mixture 1/4 turn richer and then check your plug. If you don't like it at start ups and starting off you can always turn it back to where it was. Then the Needle in the diaphgram could be raised one notch since you are looking at a plug that is effected not at WOT but more in the mid to upper mid range before WOT.
Or like we said before you are VERY VERY close and you can leave good enough alone. Also remember temp changes will also effect it. Alleyoop
