Hey KZ1000st,
I know the 3cylinder 2 stroke Kawi's that you are referring to, the came in 350, 500 and 750 and they were all fast as hell.
I myself enjoyed my "75" Z1B 903 4 cyl. 4 stroke and that was no slouch eighter, stock Harley's couldn't come close back then....... Ah the good old days. cometman

Originally I wanted to buy the new 400 triple in 1974 but the dealer wouldn't sell it to me. He liked me and wouldn't inflict a hand grenade on me. He said buy the 500 it's a better bike. But I'll tell you. Even though the engine was rubber mounted bolt tightening was a part of life. It ate headlight bulbs every two years because of the vibration and they were Kawasaki only sealed beams.
