Does a 2T have a traditional engine oil sump? I have found a plug and have found a fill port ( rubber stopper) Butg if I open the plug and drain the oil , I'm not sure that the fill port isn't for the grar box oil? THe fill port is all the way at the very end of the left side. I would hate to put engine oil in the gear box. I have a 50cc 2T Qungli with the D1E41QMB engine. thanks Phrogman

Is there a down side to adding the oil to the gas and disableing the oil injector pump? ( other than the PITA for mixing) Is it really that easy? It is leaking more than a drop or two, I either have to fix the injection system or mix in the gas.

Thanks for all the feedback, Aleey - the carb does not have any port for oil to be injected. (this is what confused me) it only have throttle and choke inputs. I attached a picture of the carb. If it wasn't for an oil tank next to the gas tank I would have swore it was 4T. The oil tube is routed to the lower left side down near the rear wheel. I haven't opened the covers on the left side, I was hunting for an IPB so I would have a road map + plus if a mess up a gasket I don't have a spare. Attachments:

Hi All - I picked up a Qingli QM50QT-B2 with 3400 mi for cheap. It has the 2 stroker D1E41QMB engine. It had sat for a couple of years so I cleaned the carb and put in a new plug . Fired up and runs good. I didn't realy know how to properly adjust the carb ( Greely ) so I put both ajusting screws at about 3 turns. I have two problems - When I stop it drips the really black oil , at leas two or three drops per shut down. It's not a leak but appears to be coming from the exhaust pipe. Is this normal? There a clear plasic line on the frame but neither end is hooked up. IT is a stock tube but I can't find any parts that are missing a tube! Any ideas? Looks like it would be breather type tube . A couple fo other curisities - can't find a enge oil dip stick ( or filler port) Can't find the engine drain plug for that matter. THere is a rubbler plug on top of the left side drive gear box, but I thought that would be for gear oil only. The other thing that baffles me 2 cycle engine oil injection . The tube from the tank runs down into the left side gear box area. What gives with that? Is they a injctor pump in there that would squrt the oil back to the head? Appreaciate the help. Phrogman
