It's a real PITA to find out what the correct pressure is anymore. It can be in several spots on the scooter. On my Bashans it's listed inside the buckets. On my Motorino the manual says to look at the tires to see what's recommended. I thought that was crazy but I crawled down and looked at those 10" wheels and tires under those retro fenders and there it was on the tire, 28 PSI rear, 26 front. The Bashans are 30 and 28. So I think if you can't find it it'll be around 28. If it rides hard knock a couple PSI out, if it's wobbly pump it up a bit. I don't think a pound or two off will make a dangerous situation. Opinions? Rich

Max tire pressure is always printed on the tire that is the law. So go at least 10% less of what the Max PSI says on the tire. I usually go around 14% of Max gives a little smoother and softer ride. Alleyoop

14%!? I say 15% SUH! That's a little OCD isn't it Alley? , especially for those BIG arse TIRES you have. No you're right, just a small difference in pressure makes a big difference in feel and performance when it comes to our neck of the woods. Actually, I notice it on my Vulcan which weighs damn near 800 LBs. I had some new tires put on in the summer and damn near fell over when I backed it out of the basement garage. They had put five pounds more in than I usually ran and the little bit of extra round in the tire made the wheel flop over when I cut the handlebars. Rich

I usually use 30 rear, 28 front. That is what is on the side walls. I'm not adverse to messing with pressure. That goes back to my Mountain Bike racing days when we messed with air pressure all the time. Hell, back home in Alaska when we rode down to 20 bellow, we used to glue the tires to the rims so we could run 25 lbs. for a softer ride and bigger footprint.

Rich, Yea, I do like the looks of the bigger tires on the trike also around 35-40 you can feel them kick in moveing you forward more on every rotation. I am a little slow due to a bad cold all week long, what does OCD stand for Alleyoop
