I see nothing close to laughable, it looks like some pretty clever engineering to me. What did you use for the air intake tube up to the carb, I'm looking for something like that. Very nice job, Rich

Cool. Do you have plates on it and if so, what kind of hassle did you get from your DMV?

Budvoss, Nobody is laughing, that is a pretty neat setup you got there. You can go to the grocery store and whatnot and carry a lot of stuff on it. You should be proud you built that yourself that is a very nice setup. I can tell you many of us would not attempt the project, we would just go and buy one. Alleyoop

thanks guys. the intake tube is a radiator hose..lol I registered it as a moped. Not to much of a problem to get get tags. Just have to have a dmv official look at it and ok it. I have one more I'm rebuilding that was electric that is also tagged and going to get a 250 water cooled engine .. I just have way to much time on my hands. lol
Alleyoop, thanks so much for the tip on the variator. i never once gave that a thought

You have nothing but admiration and curiosity from me. Now, that 250cc build should be real interesting. Maybe there are other members with home built trikes that could start their own Home Build section on the forum.

Budvoss, the only thing I'd laugh at is you not thinking it was a fine ride.
Looks well thought out. Easy access to motor Nice comfy seat with plenty of cushion great back rest Good color (JR's fav) and storage even for a cold drink or two
I'd be proud of that build. Is that the type of work you did for a living or just hobby?
