Hey guys, the doom of the black scoot begins again! LOL One day I was going up hill and suddenly I felt a snap in my throttle and my throttle bar would turn all the way and I go no gas. Upon later inspection, I found my throttle cable had snapped! How does the heart and soul snap?! Well I went in to do an inspection and found out that the wire was just corroded horrifically. Went to wal mart and got a new wire, basic brake cable! Now it rides nice, and when I give it gas it's nice and smooth. Crazy! Was weird to replace but wasn't too bad to do on my own

Nice going!! Even found anyother way to fix a broken cable instead of buying an actual Throttle cable. Did you just thread the Wire through the existing throttle cable housing or replaced the entire throttle with the Brake Cable. Alleyoop

next time,,oil the cable before you install it to eliminate moisture brought about by natural condensation....that's what i did on my scoot and bicycles.

Had that happen on my 150 about 2 miles from home. SUCKED pushing it back. I ended up buying a new cable cost was like $15.
