Hey guys, the doom of the black scoot begins again! LOL One day I was going up hill and suddenly I felt a snap in my throttle and my throttle bar would turn all the way and I go no gas. Upon later inspection, I found my throttle cable had snapped! How does the heart and soul snap?! Well I went in to do an inspection and found out that the wire was just corroded horrifically. Went to wal mart and got a new wire, basic brake cable! Now it rides nice, and when I give it gas it's nice and smooth. Crazy! Was weird to replace but wasn't too bad to do on my own

Well it was bound to happen. It's Florida and season is in for "tourists." Driving along the highway at about 45-50 mph going to gamestop to trade in some games. It's a 3 wide lane. I was in the middle lane. All lights were green and I was just cruising enjoying the beautiful day. I turn over to the right lane so I could turn into the plaze, I switch lanes and there is a guy just sitting at the green light. Traffic was moving. I hit my front brakes and rear brakes. Back tire locks up of couse. The scooter suddenly slides and I fly off, roll for about 40 feet. No broke bones and luckily wasn't hit by a car. Have some SEVERE cuts though. Entire left arm is skid down. No skin on the under side. Left knee has no skin. Part of my butt on my left side is missing skin. Right elbow is rough and so is the right knee. Hurts like crazy!!! It was bound to happen and this is the season!!! haha. Scooter isn't all that bad. It just skid, didn't do any flips or anything. So my left mirror, left tail light... and pretty much the left side is scratched bad as hell. Oh well. Got up. Took a few minutes, and rode home and got some First Aid.

The bolt head snapped off. The bottom half is still in the screw spot. What I meant by how it sounded awesome is that it's smooth. Before it was loud and sounded kind of crappy. But all I had to do was get the broken half of the bolt out. Replaced it and there is no oil leaking now. I had to adjust the idle screw. It was set way too high. Good news though! My scoot is up and running awesome! After putting the cap on correctly and adjusting everything just right it is running like a champ! Just got home from test driving it and also cruising ;D Doesn't bog at all and just goes! When I hit the breaks I don't have to worry about it it shutting off. Starts on the first try now from a cold start. Stays on when cold starting!!!! This scooter is so awesome now!! I took it to the original owner and he said it's running better than when he had it So thanks for ALLLLL of the help guys! You guys here rock!!!!!!!!! Now my next challenge is to paint it Install LED underneath it. Big bore kit it. Yup that's right LOL Just kidding. I love it the way it is now and it's staying this way!!! I can't believe that this scooter is running this good!!!!! It's amazinnggggg Thanks guys

Hmmmmm. My scoot was having the same problem until adjusting my valves today. Runs great and idles perfect. Usually my scoot would do what yours is doing. When it was warm it would run good. When was the last time you've done your valves? Just throwing suggestions out there ;D

Valves properly adjusted and scoot starts and sounds pretty awesome. Doesn't sound like crap, sounds very smoooothhhhhh. Now. Next problem lol. I am leaking oil like crazy. I know why though. A while back when tightening the bolt to the intake valve cover I snapped the bolt. Awesome. This was the same day I snapped the adjuster screw ;D Well, the engine starts right up on the first try no problem! It idles crazy high and leaks oil. Why? Well it is leaking from the spot that has no bolt in it. I tightened the other very well expecting it to be enough to hold it, but it wasn't LOL. Oil comes pouring out of there and runs down to my muffler and onto my catcher under the scooter and onto the ground. Scooter is awesome though. All the pressure that the engine has is too much for the one bolt. Which probably explains why it idles so freaking high. I'm talking about 4500 high! If I hit the throttle, to lets say 6000, it will stay there spewing oil like crazy Any helpful hints on getting that broken screw off? Could I make a slit in it and try using a flat head to get it out? How would I make a slit in that bolt though? Perhaps taking a hammer and hammering the flat head into the bolt? Thanks for all the help guys! I'm so happy that my scoot still runs from me doing all of this Just have to fix this minor problem and I'll be good to go ;D

Has anybody ordered from gokartusaonline.com before? I placed my order early Friday morning and chose One day shipping by noon, and I'm expecting it to come today. Yet, on my order invoice I have no order number nor do I have tracking information! I go to my account and hit invoice history and nothing shows up? But the money has been taken out of my account! Just wondering if anybody ordered from them and this happened to them and they still received their shipment? Thanks guys!

Thanks. Just ordered the adjuster and nut. Probably isn't necessary to order the nut, but I like new things ;D Hopefully this will fit! I've checked with scooter shops around where I live, auto shops, auto stores, hardware stores and cannot find something that will fit this! I was trying to avoid the really expensive shipping costs..... This stuff is EXPENSIVE.
