I replaced my Dr Pulley 12g sliders with a new set of Dr Pulley 12g sliders. Started scooter up and all is well except that now it the idle was at 2200 rpms. Took it out for a ride and now I notice when pulling 4000 rpms my speed is about 45 MPH where with the older sliders I was close to 50 mph.
The box said 12g on it, but I am thinking they may have put 11g sliders in the box. I'm sure not going to take them out and weigh them it was a big enough PITA changing them out. I did lower the idle to back to 1800 where I usually have set at.
The scooter is running great so whatever weight is inside is going to fine with me.

Sounds like that may be the problem, I always weigh the weights before I put them in to see if any are way off the indicated gram weight. If I find one that is way off I will use one of the older ones that is closer in weight than the new one. Or if I find an even number of weights that are off close to the same weight I space them out. That acts as if you mixed different gram weights. Alleyoop

I think that is the problem Alley. I don't have a scale and to be honest with you when the package is sealed and says 12g I take their word for it. I guess I need to remember a 10 year old is packaging them.
