Oh man, no. You could probably get at least that for the XF in this time of crazed gas prices, probably more. The Blast has such a simple engine too. There's a bike that will last darn near forever and get great gas mileage while it's at it.

Yeah I have always liked the design of the blast. Theres a lot of thought behind its development. Its basically a noob friendly made bike. Standard stance and easy controls, nice in torquey and easy to control but enough power to run the big roads and still gets respectable fuel mileage. Belt drive which is close to maint free, hydroic 2 valve setup which means no valve adjusting. Oh did I mention air cooled so I dont have to mess with that pesky coolant stuff. The only complaints you read about on them is they are boring and underperform for its size. DUH its not made for that. Its perfect for what its designed to do. I have been watching buell blasts for a while now but too cheap to pay the going price. Then this fell into my lap. I call it destiny! lol
Actually I plan to sell the xf200 for the same price. $800. Considering its quite a bit below what I paid Cookies for it a couple months ago and he gave me a great deal I think its a very fair price. If no one buys it at that price I will just keep it. As soon as the Buell is on the road I will post it in the for sale section. I really like the Q and wasnt looking for a new bike but I have been wanting a Blast for quite a while so I had to jump on the deal.

It's not just that the Blast is noob friendly, it's really a useful day in, day out device. Really when you take its specs and line them up against something like a BSA Gold Star, a legendary bike, they're not that far off. Plus a Buell has a better chassis, better brakes and certainly leaks less, not to mention no Lucas electrics.

Ya gotta love the can mufflers Eric Buell went with. "Design me the muffler that gives the best horsepower and I'll make it fit", his exact words. How many miles on it?

Well, NOW it has 6120 ;D The exhaust is a V&H earbleeder. I just got home and was really trying to be quiet coming thru the complex. It has a really sweet sound even though a bit loud and I'm already in love with it

I had a friend who had an SR-500 Yamaha with a "better" pipe on it. It sounded so much faster with it. I rode it for a few hours in Canada, loved it.
