I don't believe I would even bother this in the video or just go out and buy a new tire???

They say you would do this in an emergency I don't see anything emergency about it!

Emergency, and of course you have all the proper equipment with you at the time this happened out in the middle of nomans land(HAHA). You put in the all the emergency stuff to fix a blown tire BUT not a good spare BRILLIANT!!

that would be pretty hard to dismount a tire in an emergency. however i could see this being useful on a show car with vintage tires... but thats about the only application i could see it being useful. that and maybe a lawnmower tire lol

It raises the question is it cheaper to fix a flat or buy a new tire? Emergency would be fixing the flat but find a better alternative to what is show. At home buy a new tire. true or false?

Thats why I dont buy used tires. My sister used to buy used tires thinking she was saving money since they were half the price and had most of the tread. She was having lots of flats and blowouts which I attributed to her bad driving. During one of the rescue missions to help her I noticed a patch (like the one in this video) on the inside of the tire. When we got to her house I closely inspected her other tires. They all were patch sidewall tires. She finally started buying new ones. The bad part is there was no stitching. Just a patch on the inside and shoe goo disquising the cut on the outside. Im surprized she didnt kill herself esp considering how she drove.
