I only show her the GOOD posts about her. My mama didn't raise no fool! She may have. Someday your wife may get her own user name and password. You think you have to show her your good posts and she is not capable of logging on herself? I hope you don't get a rude awakening some day if she logs on. And if things are really bad and there is a divorce, she may even think of reading your posts on this site to see if she can find anything to use against you. I always try to remember that anything you write online is retrievable by anyone! But I am hoping that you were just joking. I did chuckle when I read it. (But you won't be laughing if your wife does.)It was rather funny.

Tonya, go buy a socket wrench and make sure you have a 17. It will fit. I have a 54 b Linhai clone and it fits. The socket wrench makes things so much easier!

yes I have a 250. We all experience minor spills. Well , at least I did. Hopefully we will never have any serious ones. But riding is serious business. One stupid mistake on a bike can have serious or even fatal consequences as many have found out.

Tonya, I had my first experience riding in a downpour at the beginning of this summer. It is scary. Just remember not to ride in the center of the lane. That is where all the slippery oil accumlates. Ride where the cars tire tracks would be. It is less slippery. Stay away from the center. After only 1000 miles, your tires should still be good if they were new when you got your bike.(unless you've been hard on them, like spinning out , doing wheelies etc. lol rof. Best way to know is to look at the tread.

wayneb, I have a totally clean driving record, I go thru AARP which is supposed to be reduced. And your foremost is less than mine. What kind of bike do you have? (I think I am being taken by foremost.)

Sorry that happened to you. Yes, extreme scooters do not have a good reputation.

I am not sure. I asked my agent what my fee would be if I hadn't gone thru AArp and he skirted around the issue. He insisted that aarp's got a cheaper rate but won't give me a quote for the same policy without AARP. (next time I call, I will be more insistent on an answer.) I have a ton of coverage, even towing and travel. If I am over 100 miles from home it even has hotel and meals. I pay 15.00 a month. which is 180 a year. You know, the best way to compare on this thread would be to post our rates. Any one else pay less?
Waayne, It probably is because aarp is cheap to join and you get a monthly magazine that has information about things that are going on in congress that affect seniors. It really is a good lobby for seniors and worth joining. AARP has effectively lobbied congress against many cuts that would have hurt seniors.

Watch out for new pavement it's a lot mose slipery then it looks. I was out riding my scooter this mornig and I came upon a section of newly re-paved roadway . Long story short.....trafic stopped and I couldn't so I laid the bike (Riketa 250 54B) on it's side and slid down the highway on all that nice new pavement. I guess new pavement is more slipery because of the new oil in it. Anyway, considering I was doing 60 MPH when it happened I guess I was lucky. Only got minor boo-boos; left wrist is sprained, right wrist is broken, rIght leg is broken, neck hurts and I have a host of skin missing all over my body. I have to go see my bone guy next week and see what he says about the damages. No idea what the bike looks like. I asked two great people that were in front and behind me and stopped to help me to move it out of the middle of the road for me. And of course me along with it. I saw the left side and it looked fine. But I fell on my right side. The poliece had it towed so my son-in-law is going to pick it up with a trailer tomorrow The worse of it is I have to use a wheelchair because of the wrist damage they won't let me just use the sticks so I can walk. No walkinng cast allowed on this one. Feeling pretty good right now ... GOT DRUGs!! LOL Hope to see all you guys back on the road again in about 6 or 8 weeks. Hey, me too! got drugs. thank God.

so sorry you got hurt. I'm in the same boat as you current- can't ride due to broken right hand. Done for the season. But there is always next year! Yes your right and looking forward to it. Sorry you did in your hand as well. Did it happen on your scooter? Bob no, a barbell was accidently dopped on it. I have pins in my rt hand all ove the place and tons of detached tendons that had to be repaired. Hand is a mess. cast is off now and I am going to physical therapy. Pain is extreme. expected to get 80 percent of function back over a 12 week time period. but hey, i can function at 80 percent! grip will be weak.

You don't need to belong to AARP to get Foremost insurance though. AARP just recommends them. I don't belong to AARP and just contacted Foremost directly after hearing that AARP recommended them. The rates will be the same whether you belong to AARP or not. No, I talked to my formost agent today regarding towing coverage. He told me that people who sign up under AARP get a discounted rate. But that they offer coverage to anyone. Part of the deal with aarp was that if aarp chose foremost (which they did), aarp members would get a discount.

not so good. cast came off last monday. still grossly swollen and bruised. unable to move digits. Went to first rehab appt yesterday. Therapist said it will take about 12 weeks of therapy and I will get about 80 percent of my hand back. Still very much pain. But there are some very good and exciting things happening in my life so that keeps me up,.

Well, for the most part, I don't have a problem. Most mc riders wave to me or return my wave. I would say 99 percent.
