About 3 weeks ago I received my MC-54-250 scooter from Extreme-scooters dot com. The scooter was really beat up during shipment. While this is not the dealers fault I do expect help getting the replacement parts. I sent in the pictures of the harmed body panels as instructed by the dealer and so far nothing has happened. I have contacted the dealer numerous times to ask when the body panels will be shipped. There is never an answer. I was instructed by the dealer that the body panels would be sent and that the dealer would file the claim with YRC, the company that delivered the scooter.
Every body panel has some sort of damage.
Also the Remote Starter does not work. I asked for a warranty replacement and the dealer said "don't use it, only use the push starter". If I paid extra for a part I expect it to work.
So to make a long story short.....Do not but from Extreme-scooters dot com from Warner Robins, GA.
To be fair Emails have gone back and forth and the dealer has forwarded me an Email where he shows me he has ordered the parts, but this was after numerous communications and I still do not know if the parts are coming. I just do not know whether or not to believe his Email. I just can not get a firm "yes the parts are ordered and will be delivered on....".
Be careful and order from another dealer. I was not smart enough to check the forums first....now I know better.

Sorry that happened to you. Yes, extreme scooters do not have a good reputation.

Thanks Aussiedoglover for posting that, we shall keep an eye on them. The jury is still out for you, they may still come through on the warranty, but it sounds like the same old lame excuses from a lame internet seller. Here's their URL so y'all can see who they are and be cautious with them:
extreme-scooters.com
What we do here at the Doc is leave posts like this up in General Discussion so everybody gets a chance to see it, and then I'll move it to the Dealer Experiences board for a permanent record. Shady sellers usually sound and look great but usually flame out when the chips are down. Don't feel silly pal, you're not the first and you won't be the last....unfortunately. Rich

Hello Everyone This is an update....... Got home yesterday from a week of vacation and the replacement body panels had arrived. The dealer must have filed a claim with YRC as discussed because all the body panels here.
The only problem now is the warranty replacement part for the remote starter. I still do not have that part.
If I ever get it I will update this discussion.

At least it sounds like some movement in the right direction. However, I'd still say that's a lot more hassle than what you should have to put up with. Well, keep us posted. Rich

It only gets worse. Today I get home from work and I have a letter from the State of Pennsylvania that the "Certificate of Origin For A Vehicle" is no good. Now I need to work through the hassle of all this.
The scooter can not be used. The MC-54-250 makes a big paper wieght.
Lets hope the dealer helps me out. I'll keep you all posted.

Ow, it's not getting better is it? It seems that Pennslyvania is having some registratration difficulties and your problem might be part of that mess. In any event the seller should have made you aware of that. One of our members is a dealer in Pittsburgh and he might be able to give you some information. You can send Cookees a personal message by clicking right here. He might be able to give you some insight on working through this problem. Let us know what shakes out. Rich

I have contacted the dealer and Roketa is sending a new title (MCO). If that does not work then my state representative has an office in my home town and I will ask him for help. Hopefully this will be all cleared up soon.

Hello Everyone Thought I would give you all an update. The dealer sent a second title. I'm still waiting to hear from the state of PA. I have had to do a lot of work on the scooter. The carb was not installed right and the air cleaner was not connected. Both of these problems are solved.
Now I have a very bad vibration with a loud growl. It feels like my feet are going to vibrate off my legs. If the scooter is placed on the dual kick stand so that the back wheel is off the ground evey thing sounds great. No problem. If I take the scooter for a test drive then I get the vibration at 3000 rpm and higher. I would guess wheel bearing except for the fact there is no noise with the wheel off the ground and I would expect noise at any speed.
Front wheel seems ok. Will try to do more testing. Will keep all of you updated when I find the problem.
If anyone knows of a good scooter repair person around New Castle PA please let me know.
If you know what the problem might be please advise.

Whatever you may spend on trailer rental you'll save on not getting your eyeballs ripped out. Just tell him Rich sent you.....no wait.....maybe you better not do that . You could also post your problem in the Clinic section where mechanical problems get addressed. Rich

Ya, Dave don't like refunding money once something is gone. I got my Roketa MC-13-250 scooter from Dave in perfect condition. But I notices a few things done wrong. Like the trucking company had no lift gate on it when delivered. Luckily my 3 boys, wife and I was there, to put the scooter on the ground gently. Otherwise the guy unloading it would have just dropped it on the ground from about 4 feet in the air. No liftgate and I paid $50 for liftgate service.. I imagine he does this to everyone.. I was lucky to have been there waiting on the truck. I can see how scooters get all banged up..

I bought my mc_d300tkb from Dave. Have had some issues with it. Dave would send vague email replies and. Sometimes none at all. He has gotten better at the replies though only after I made a complaint. I went over his head and tried to fix my issues directly through Sunny (scooterdepot.us) I am really surprised that Sunny is still in business. That company has horrible customer service and I've read its no different with the dealers. I think Dave's hands are tied when having to get parts or service. I know if I was a dealer I would drop them after getting my name turned to mud. But sunny does not stand behind their name. They have even told some customers they are ju

Just the middle man and the scooters are manufactured in china so there isn't much they can do.
