Ok, as you guys and gals know I got a morphous, and its a 250CC and I need to figure out how many cylinder this bad boy has, as I am looking into getting an analogue tach and want to make sure I get the proper type to use (i just like analogue tachs, look better) but need to first figure out how to tell how many cylinders I have, and before anyone says RTFM I tried, nothing useful to me and the manual has since been misplaced when the mother unit did her sudden (with out warning) spring cleaning push...so i got to relocate it thanks for the help anyone can provide!

thanks guys!! and since its a single cyl any suggestions for tachs that would work? I know some ive seen say they are for 2, 4 or 6 cyl engins meanning if i use it on a 1 cyl engin it most likely won't read correctly

Analog tachs are usually more expensive than digital types. You will have to concentrate on motorcycle or motorsport type tachs in order to find 1 cylinder compatible models. The models that work on Harley Davidsons should work OK for a single cylinder as I believe there is one spark per revolution. Any Harley mechs or owners can chime in to verify. You might want to check out Summit Racing (google it). They have a large selection of different styles and sizes. Here's a nice looking one intended for Harleys: www.jpcycles.com/product/5600017?utm_medium=cse&utm_source=shoppingdotcom
