anyone know of a tach that will work on a single cylinder engin? most of these seem to be for 2 or more cylinder engines

most likely no he wouldnt have been able to because they would have been for the LEDs (resisters, capacitors, ect) and removing those may inturupt the flow of the current rendering the light useless...but thats my guess based on what I know

thanks guys!! and since its a single cyl any suggestions for tachs that would work? I know some ive seen say they are for 2, 4 or 6 cyl engins meanning if i use it on a 1 cyl engin it most likely won't read correctly

Ok, as you guys and gals know I got a morphous, and its a 250CC and I need to figure out how many cylinder this bad boy has, as I am looking into getting an analogue tach and want to make sure I get the proper type to use (i just like analogue tachs, look better) but need to first figure out how to tell how many cylinders I have, and before anyone says RTFM I tried, nothing useful to me and the manual has since been misplaced when the mother unit did her sudden (with out warning) spring cleaning push...so i got to relocate it thanks for the help anyone can provide!

I know you were kidding, and i figured you meant it like that but wasnt sure (darn intertubez....blame them)....
yea i do like it, its different and for your loud speaker, wouldnt a siren speaker with built in amp hooked to a audio jack be just as effective? smaller and more compact...hehe
