I've been scouring the web with no luck Does anyone know a source for analog tachometers compatible with single cylinder GY6 scooters?
Multiple references to digitals like "Tiny Tach" but would much prefer a sweeping dial gauge, alot more user friendly IMO. Keep thinking surely someone must offer one
Anybody know where these might be found?

Works on 1 or 2 cylinder motors by inductive pickup from spark plug lead like a timing light. Not sure how stable or accurate that'd be for full-time use, but price is good. We weren't ignoring you, I responded over on the 50 to 200cc board ;D. The Tiny Tach works the same way and performs just fine. I saw the one that went up to 8,000 but didn't mention it or the others that do the same because the GY6 routinely goes over that. I've never run into the 15,000 RPM job and am interested to see if it works for you. Let us know! Rich

From what I read here: www.thumpertalk.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-793139.htmlIt needs to be programmed for the application and a line connected directly (unswithced) to the battery to maintain programing memory or it will revert to base settings. Go to the Koso NA site ( www.kosonorthamerica.com/ ), navigate to "Gauges..." and click on "Scooter" in the dropdown - 12 pages of stuff!! BA481B17 (pictured above) appears on P.10.
