Welcome to Scooter Doc, richard. What kind of scoot do you have and how many miles? Engine and occasional gear oil changes are the most important part of scoot maintenance. Did you do a PDI on it? The PDI will help avoid any potential problems that might arise in the future. Tires, brakes, and the CVT belt are the items which wear the fastest on most scoots. A valve adjustment is also a good idea if it hasn't already been done. If you have the original brass colored 90 degree tire valve stems, then replace them ASAP to avoid sudden flats or leaking. Also, congratulations on being our second 110 year old member to join in the past year.

PDI = Pre and/or Post Delivery Inspection. If you've been riding for 2 years then it's high time to go through that scoot from one end to the other, top to bottom. We want all member to have many years of smiles and little thing like a valve stem can do terrible things. Ride safe old timer. ;D M/C
