I was wondering what this tank or filter is... It sits above the rear tire and the hose out the back points down and is not connected to anything. I assume it is an engine vent. Attachments:

That is probably your tranny vent tube, check where it connects to. If it is they probably put the filter on so if it squirts oil out it will not run out and get onto something like your brakes or CCT. But I would have it tied up high so if there is oil in there after running it will drain back into the Tranny. The way it looks if there is oil in there it will not drain back into the Tranny and if it fills up it will not vent. Alleyoop

Did anyone check my post at the bottom of page 1? I thought autotech and Motori Tec are the same vendor. I found it with our banner vendor for $3 less with a set of 3 roller weights. Just wondering if this is indeed the same Prodigy set that you guys are talking about?

Sure looks like the same Variator to me and $3.00 cheaper to boot. They show 3 sets of rollers but do you get all 3 sets or you choose the grams you want and get only one set? Alleyoop

That's what I thought. Sent an e-mail asking about the variator weights. I'll let you guys know when I get an answer.

Yes, when I ordered the Prodigy from him I emailed him and asked for 12 gram weights and he ACTUALLY Also included the 11Gram that he said come with it. I bought my 60mm Stroker Crank from him, I ordered it on Thursday late and that MONDAY was a HOLIDAY and got it on TUESDAY. Alleyoop

New parts are on the way...variator-sliders-manifold-coil-cdi-spark plug. My fuel lines have a SAE DOT stamp and the vacuum lines have a USA stamp on them. I think I will roll the dice and see how the hoses perform before replacing. More to come.

Sorry I have not chimed in on this as I have replaced almost my whole CVT at this point. If you are going to do that much with the CVT there are complete kits that have all of the parts for much less than buying them piece by piece Trust me from someone who spent the money then looked at the kit and said awww hell. I agree that you really need to have your scoot completely broke in before messing with performance stuff. Here is a link to a kit. It may not be the best price, but Jeremy is a great guy to deal with, he is a board sponsor and remember, he gives 10% off for being a member here and shipping is included in the price. www.enviromoto.ecrater.com/p/6055912/ncy-157qmj-150cc-gy6-performanceI spent way more than the $200 for all of my parts and didn't get the vented clutch bell and and a couple of the other goodies in it.
