flange nut question . What is the threading on the variator side on the crankshaft? Is it a special threading or can I find a metric nut that wll work ? I bought a flange nut locally but it doesn't fit . Any help would be much appreciated !

Gee, I never thought about that nut, there always seemed to be a couple laying around. I'm pretty sure it's a 12 mm shaft but you better check to be sure. Here's a printable thread Chart that's true to scale: Printable Thread chart There's three thread pitches for 12 mm but I bet it's the standard. However, use the chart to hold it up to the shaft just to be sure. Rich
