Any suggestions on what gasket sealer, maker or goop to use on my gaskets to seal them up when they get installed ? 157qmj engine . Bill C.

permatex makes nice gasket sealants. If you just want to use this to hold a gasket while installing, use very little. The more you use, the more you will need to clean off when removing. Go to www.permatex.com to find out about their products.

My main issue is which one to use ? high temp ultra copper , blue , black . BillC.

High temp since it is on the motor and the motor does get hot. As for copper , blue or black get the one that is a gasket sealant NOT Gasket Maker. You already have the gaskets you want something that will just seal and hold the gaskets in place and will not break down with heat. Maybe others might chime if they have taking a motor apart and put it back together. Alleyoop
