I am hoping that you can help steer me in a direction to help resolve a starting issue with my scooter. I have a Lin Hai Aeolus 50 scooter, from day one I have had issue with the electric start. It is not consistent on starting. It is especially evident when it is cold. I can almost always kick start the machine. After many attempts at the electric turn over it seems like it catches and then will start. Thereafter, when it has been running and warm I can restart with electric start. I have had in to the shop and they say it is not the starter or battery, they replaced the spark plug also. It seems like after trying the electric start for several times it builds up enough charge to start. What could it be??? Thanks

Check to make sure the connections on the starter solenoid terminal are tight.

Could be the starter or the starter clutch

Welcome to Scooter Doc, tootoot. Your starting problem sounds like it might be a sticking starter bendix. Usually acts better when the scoot is warmed up. Here's what they look like: www.valleyscooterparts.com/starterbendix.html
