Well the day has finally come. My Dad, My Son and I will be leaving after lunch tomorrow to head from Wisconsin to Mississippi to Pick up Scooter from our Friend Fubar (Jim). I am so looking forward to the trip as well as picking up the new Ride. We will be making a vacation of it. We will be Geocaching all the way down and back we should be able to pick up atleast 8 States to add to our Geocache belt... :-)

Well we are 160 miles into our Road trip to Mississippi. We have one cache under our belt so far. Though the weather could be a whole lot better. It has been nothing but rain and snow so far. It is just misting right now by Rochelle, IL. Will keep updating as trip goes on.
Just love hi tech. Laptop tethered to blackberry rocks. Able to surf net, facebook and log caches right from the car going down the road.

Todd,
Is this a Geocaching trip and picking up a scooter along the way? A scooter pick up with Goecaching along the way? Or is it really just an excuse for a Just the guys road trip?
Guess it really doesn't matter as you all have a great time. Enjoy the trip and the new scooter. I know you got a good deal.

I do like the south:) also, tethering tech is awesome, we did the same on a recent road trip its nice to have internet while driving..how did we ever survive when we younger? Oh yea I had to count the mile makers for entertainment. |

Well it is a Trip to pick up Scooter with Geocaching... LOL but still a good excuse for guys road trip.
We are in Northern Mississippi right now about 3 hours away from our destination. So we will probably do a few hours of caching before going over to meet up with Jim to pick up scooter.

We are back home from our 2700 mile Journey. Was great weather down South that is for sure. Would love to have some of that up here just itchen to ride now.
We did get Geocaches in 10 Different states. So we had a great time. Lots of driving and very little sleep.
Will post picks when I catch up on sleep and get Van unloaded...
