I have not RC Raced in about 8 years... Wow quite a while ago. I loved it and I still have my RCs. I have 3 I have a little 1/10th scale Associated B4 Think it is a b4 I got is from a buddy that borrowed a Nitro motor of mine and sucked sand through it. My main rides are Mugen MBX-5R and and MBX-5T 1/8th scale Nitro. Yes it does get expensive and is the reason I have not gotten rid of them I do want to get them out hope this summer for abit. I have about $2000 a piece into them. If anyone is interested here is a link to my RC Racing Galleries. From the last couple of years that I was racing. RC Racing galleries

For me I chose to go with the camera mounted on the side of my helmet. Watched alot of different videos and mounting options. It allows a little bit of the helmet to be seen so helps reduce visual shake. here is some video off of my Gopro.

Like said above you could cut and strip and then twist them together and tape or even to the local auto supply store and pick up some Crimp on butt connectors like BUTT Connector

rosiemoto When it comes to CVT Belt becareful of Cheap Belts. I had gotten a cheap belt and it shredded and got all messed up in the Clutch and variator it was a mess. I Personally like the Gate Powerlink I have gotten really good deals on them in the past. Good luck.

rosiemoto Should have looked at the Adjustable wrench..... Stay away from the Knuckle busters when working with the variator nut. Stick with a good 6 pt socket and a breaker bar. you would not be able to loosen it with that anyway not without a cheater and would probably mess up the nut. Not sure about the 150cc but I know I tried on my 250 before I got my impact wrench and was not able to get the nut loose using a strap wrench. Those that Ally posted would do a much better job.

Here is an way to get that nut off without an impact drive. Though there is always a chance of damaging Variator fins doing it this way but atleast chino Variators are cheap.

rosiemoto It is the brake light you have to worry about being burned out or the starter will not engage. I should have been a bit more clear on that.... Did you find a bad brake switch? If so did you find the style you need? I have a couple from my Old scooter that you can have if they will work for you. I no longer have a need for them as the scooter they fit I no longer own. If it is like this one that Alley Posted? If so that is the ones I have. Both Left and Right side. They are probably this type, the two wires plug in and one screw holds the switch:

Rosie, I know on at least one of your Videos you had mentioned Lighting issues also. I had mentioned in the comments on one of your last videos. Make sure that your Break Light bulbs are working also. Blown bulbs will act like an open circuit and react the same way as an open/bad switch. So make sure your bulbs are good also.

I think if you remove your Air box you should be able to get at the lock release and move it by hand that way.
