would there be a big difference oing from a50 15 to 49 17 thanks

They show them as 15/50 or 17/49, they always indicate the Short Shaft Splines First and then the Big Gear that turns the Shaft that turns your wheel.
So you currently have 15/50 gears and you want to go to 17/49 that should be about 6mph more top end.

Shalom72c, You bet Bro, See my IB Trike in my signature, well it has 13/40 gears I am replaceing them with 16/37 gear But I am also putting in a 62mm BBK and a 60mm Stroker Crank so my displacment will go from 149.6cc(s) to 181cc(s). That should make it haul Butt  . I should be able to cruise easy at 55mph and have a lot left over at low rpms. Alleyoop |
